We make every effort to schedule patients with critical problems as quickly as possible. More popular times, such as after-school appointments for children, may require more advanced scheduling.

Please understand that we do not rush our patients, and we take the time to answer your questions and address your concerns. To make sure we have that time, we limit the number of patients we schedule each day. We will do our best to accommodate your schedule and your needs.

Vision may be blurry and your eyes may be very light sensitive for a few hours after your appointment because of the dilating eyedrops we use. You may want to have someone else drive you home.

What to bring

New Patients

  • Insurance card
  • Referral (if required by your insurance company)
  • Contact our office regarding any forms that may be required
  • Payment for exam and/or copay
  • Eyeglasses and contact lenses (If you have both, wear your contact lenses and bring your contact lens case and your glasses. You will need to wear your glasses instead of contacts for a few hours after your eyes are dilated. If you have prescription sunglasses, please bring them as well.)
